
Once Upon A Time...in 2016
Being a single mom, the decision to leave a big corporate job with health benefits was a major decision for me. Ultimately I knew that Beignet Babe had my heart and I had to pursue it. I started the company with no money & I hoped every farmer’s market I did would give me a little more money than I came with. Most people had no idea what I was selling. I had to do a lot of educating & sampling. I found myself at rock bottom thinking if this was really worth the risk after failing at multiple events that I threw a lot of money into. But persistence is key!
At Beignet Babe, we make artisanal French Beignets & French Crullers. We take the traditional beignet and give it a twist with different fillings that we offer, from lemon to chocolate. Our French Crullers are made fresh daily with an authentic Pate A Choux and dipped in different flavor glazes. All of dough, fillings & glazes are made by hand. We are most proud to bring real deal French donuts to the valley of the sun. We have grown so much as a brand and have grown a family of customers. I’m so proud to call most of our customers family/friends. We not only pride ourselves in our donuts, but also in being 100% authentic with all our customers.
