Being a single mom, the decision to leave a big corporate job that offered security was a major decision for me. Ultimately I knew that Beignet Babe had my heart and I had to pursue it. I started the company with no money and credit card debt & hoped every farmer’s market I did would make me a little more money than I came with. Most people had no idea what I was selling! I had to do a lot of educating & sampling. After failing at multiple events I found myself at rock bottom, thinking if it was really worth the risk after all the time, energy and money I put into it. But persistence is key and we found what worked and didn't work!

At Beignet Babe we make artisanal French beignets. We take the traditional beignet and give it a twist with different fillings. Everything we make are made from scratch.
